meI was born in Odessa, TX. Odessa was never much when I was growing up, but now it is this uber-famous town. The book, movie and subsequent tv show called ‘Friday Night Lights’ was a true story about my high school Permian (and can I say how much I hate football). I think the coolest thing to happen to Odessa is the fact that ‘Heroes’ the TV show based one of the main characters out of there and one big evil corporation that liked to kidnap people. Really what better place to kidnap someone to than Odessa? I guarantee no one would come looking for them.

Nashville called me at an early age. I was in 5th grade when I decided I was going to live in Nashville. In 1997 I did just that. I moved to Nashville to attend college at Belmont University. I attended for a few semesters and then landed a sweet “job” and eventually decided to do that full time.

My job was that of my own company, Fall Awake. Fall Awake focused on web sites, web marketing, and photography. Most of my client base came from music artists and record companies. I worked for some of the biggest and brightest in christian music, country music and non-profits. I was on the road more than I care to remember – taking photos and video for promotional use on the web sites kept me extremely busy, but man it was a great time. It was also a great way for me to see a very large part of the US.

I eventually burned out and packed up my bags. I left Nashville for Sunny California. I did freelance work for about a year and then decided I wanted to try a real job. So I got a job at a local church as their multimedia coordinator. I did all their media – billboards, postcards, flyers, program shells, web sites, video, Sunday morning media presentations…I did it all.

In January of 2007 I decided I was ready to move back to Nashville, I had been gone for 5 years and was ready to come back to the music city. I finished up my degree and graduated from Belmont with my BS.

My current digs are working at home doing freelance work and working part time for this great youth club called Rocketown. I hope to get my masters degree in the near future. I just need to decide between history, anthropology or photography.

I have three pets which include a dog and two cats. My dog likes to go hiking with me on the weekends while I explore the backroads on Tennessee.

MeMy Myers-Briggs type:

INTJ- Introverted iNtuitive Thinking Judgment

“INTJs are strong individualists who seek new angles or novel ways of looking at things. They enjoy coming to new understandings. They are insightful and mentally quick; however, this mental quickness may not always be outwardly apparent to others since they keep a great deal to themselves. They are very determined people who trust their vision of the possibilities, regardless of what others think. They may even be considered the most independent of all of the sixteen personality types. INTJs are at their best in quietly and firmly developing their ideas, theories, and principles.”
