I just finished Amy Grant’s new book Mosaic which released on the 16th of this month. I will have a full review posted by the 15th for those interested.
Since I finished that book in one night I had to head to the library today. I was not sure what I was in the mood to read and it shows in my selections of books.
The first book I found looks like it will be a cute fluff read called “Happy Birthday or Whatever” by Annie Choi. The book seems lighthearted and funny.
The next selection I picked up was Hillary Clinton’s Autobiography. I have been wanting to read it for some time now, but never had the chance to get a copy. Flipping through the book I am thinking this one might take me some time to get through.
The last book I picked up is a book on French History. The book is by Pierre Goubert and is called “The Course of French History”. It has been a couple of years since I have looked into French history and I have been wanting to learn more about the country.
I used to be very good about picking a topic and studying it, but I have drifted from that habit and I want to rebirth it. I miss learning and I miss challenging myself. I figured French history it a good place to start because I enjoy French art, food, movies, etc.
With all that being said, I am off to read.
