Okay so this album came out in January and I just not got it. I have heard some of their music for awhile, but never knew who it was with those infectious grooves.
Last night I gave this album a first spin and today at work it blared on my iPhone at work. The first song I knew was “F-cking Boyfriend” and also “Again and Again”. These two tracks are worth buying the whole album, but the great thing is the whole dang cd is that good.
So far my favorite tracks are “La La La” and “I’m a Broken Heart”.
Their sound kind of reminds me of what I have heard of Sigur Ros or a mild Bjork mixed in with a little freestyle Jazz. Whatever the combination…it works!
