Ummp. Just got off the phone with Fed Ex.
Last night I got the email that my order had shipped and it would be here before 10:30am this morning. I just checked the status to see a ‘Delievery exception’ notice. I called Fed-ex and the lady kindly informed me that Apple had halted delieveries till later today.
Talk about power. My package was on a truck headed my way this morning and Apple makes one call and now I have to wait.
Anyone else get this message?

Understandable. Leopard has already hit the P2P torrent sites for free download. Leopard isn’t official due for release until 6pm tonight (10/26) and you will still receive it before then because FedEx will schedule it for afternoon delivery.
Look at it from Apple’s point of view. The earlier the release the more apt it is to be spread forcing a loss of revenue. Leopard has no registration or serial number requirements so it can be installed on any Mac machine.

I didn’t order it online, I had to do the real deal sitting in line (I was first btw) and then being applauded into the store; getting the limited Leopard t-shirt and blogging about it the whole time! Oh man, mac knows how to put on a show!

OS2Guy – I do no think stalling people who already purchased it really is going to do that much.
Kelli – I saw your pictures that is all crazy. I would have been standing in line with you had I still been there though. I do not have as many crazy geek friends here in Nashville.
