So many questions on this one. I was not expecting the twist at the end there.
- Are Jin and Sun now living in different times?
- What did Jin’s headstone say?
- Why was Hurley glad no one else was there?
- How does Ben have all these resources?
- Did he stage the plane wreckage just to keep Jack on the island? Or?
- Loved the scene with Jin and Sun in the tent when he forgives her.
- Is Michael the one that left the note for Sayid and Desmond?
- If Michael is working for Ben and the ship people are working for Penny’s dad…who are they to trust?
- Is Jin part of the ‘6′?
Any other thoughts?

It really had a lot of twists. .Ya, I think it’s possible they’re living in different “times” now (as in, the same way Desmond was in different times for awhile…) More than likely, Jin is still on the island during Sun’s flash forward, and they are saying he’s dead as part of the big “lie” that Jack was discussing with Kate.
I wonder about all of Ben’s resources too. He’s a millionaire (we learned from Miles) with many connections. I think it has to do with his connection to the “island natives” (aka Richard etc.) who wanted the Dharma people killed. Maybe sorta like, sell your soul to the devil and you get rich. Or, connect with the Mafia and they profide for you… Perhaps…
One of the previews (it might have been the Canadian one) said that this episode would reveal the final two of the six, so i think Jin is in fact one of the six. I think Darlton also said it on the podcast, that the final two would e in this episode.
I think the Jin parts were flashbacks and the Sun parts were flash-forwards. Jin said he’d only been married for two months – and his cell phone looked old.
The commercials said the “Oceanic 6 would be revealed”…but I think that was misleading, because we only confirmed Sun for sure. That makes me think we’ve already somehow seen 5…Do you think the 6th person could be Aaron (Claire’s baby)?
Marc – then I am curious as to how Jin died if in fact he is one of the 6. It just seemed strange with Hurley’s comment.
Maggie- agreed. Very misleading. I dont think it is Aaron because he was not on the manifest since he was not born yet.
Steph- I am kind of leaning to what you said about Jin and whatever conspiracy they are hiding…
my big question who dies next week?
This was an awesome episode. Here are my responses to your questions:
* Are Jin and Sun now living in different times? – I don’t believe so. Jin would have mentioned something more about Sun but he said he’s only been married 2 months which means that was a flashback for his scenes.
* What did Jin’s headstone say? – I’d like to know also.
* Why was Hurley glad no one else was there? – There seems to be bad blood growing between the Oceanic 6.
* How does Ben have all these resources? – I don’t know but he sure has a lot of power.
* Did he stage the plane wreckage just to keep Jack on the island? Or? – He may have staged the wreckage to keep all the survivors on the island. He has files on each of them after all.
* Loved the scene with Jin and Sun in the tent when he forgives her. – Yes it was a touching scene
* Is Michael the one that left the note for Sayid and Desmond? – It must’ve been Michael who left the note for Sayid and Desmond. Only Sayid knows Michael right? I don’t recall Desmond ever meeting Michael.
* If Michael is working for Ben and the ship people are working for Penny’s dad…who are they to trust? – Michael is working for Ben.
* Is Jin part of the ‘6?? – I think Jin really is dead.
The tomb said :
Kwan (Gwan) {his family name}
Jin
Su {Jin-su is his given name}
in three Korean syllables down the middle
i couldn’t catch what was above his name
i think Jin isn’t dead, but still on the island so they all have to pretend he is dead. although it was too dramatic with Hurley coming to the grave site… but i still think (hope?) he’s alive
HM….Looks like the death date on Jin’s tombstone is the date of the plane crash. I guess that means he’s not one of the six.
