I spent today up in the mountains. I have loved Cades Cove since the first time I went there many years ago. I was a wonderful day. My friends and I saw bears (many bears), wild turkeys, snakes (yuk), deer, and other various animals. My favorite was spending time in the old churches.
The churches had Bibles filled with dedications, prayer requests, notes, hopes, dreams, etc. I read them all. Some broke my heart, some filled me with hope.
One of the churches had an old piano that I plunked some chords and enjoyed being in that place.
