I am sitting in the Nashville area red cross pr office hearing about disaster relief.
Here are a few Tennessee stats
55000 meals and snacks served since Saturday.
During the tornato relief they served 40000
Whole state has 22 shelters open — including 10 in the middle Tennessee area.
Second harvest food bank has stepped in to help out with food.
Medical issues are being taken care of at each shelter.
The national disaster relief fund is at $0 right now. When donating money to red cross be sure and signify ‘national disaster relief fund’ so the red cross can use the money where it is needed.
