10 people to listen to – #7 The Weepies

I am almost to the middle of counting down the top 10 singers to listen to in the folk/bluegrass/country genre. I have arrived at number 7 (these are in no certain order except who I think to put on the list). Artist number 7 is husband/wife duo knows as “The Weepies”.

The Weepies are one of those bands that I am not really sure where I first heard them, but they have been in playlist for quite a while. Their quirky mix of melody and lyric make for a bubbly fun party in your ears. The first song I heard by them is still one of my favorites ‘Somebody Loved’.
