• I like sideways Ben. He cares.
• When did Ben and his dad leave the island? I guess his dad is not a raging drunk.
• Alex is part of history club.
• “Cheese Carrots”
• How is Richard going to “die”?
• I always thought Richard came to the island from the Black Rock. Now that point is proven.
• Richard lost hope.
• Why is Jack so eager to help Richard die?
• Jack found Richard’s hope.
• Ben has the choice to save Alex again.
• “I will have you” those are powerful words.
• Ben made the right choice and saved Alex in the sideways world.
• There is redemption for Ben….this has made this show worthwhile. I hope this continues through the show.
• This last scene is very close to when the two castaways first came together.
• Charles is back….good grief.

So far this episode has redeemed this season.  Ben dying to himself and choosing the right thing in both worlds…is just amazing. I hope Charles coming back to the island does not throw this new Ben into a tailspin.

This episode was a great episode that showcased faith, hope and redemption.

• I usually don’t like Jack centric episodes.
• What is the scar from?
• Are the lines blurring for Jack between the two worlds. He did not have his appendix out till he was an adult on the island. I would think he would have known he had a scar there.

• Claire seems normal.
• “I just lied to a Samurai” BEST LINE

• Claire made a fake baby. How sad.

• So how is this going to go over when Claire sees Kate?

My thoughts while watching Lost:

• Oh John is still with Helen. That is good.
• Locke’s dad?? So I guess he is in a wheelchair for another.
• Really what are the odds of him running into a spinal surgeon? really?
• So was Locke hurt in the war?
• John was a candidate?
• Black and White ash — continuing the theme of light and dark
• Sawyer is one smart cookie “who are you”
• What is the most important question in the world? “Why are you on this island”
• Hurley is Locke’s boss?
• Interesting little kid?
• You can’t kill him? Who is him? Is Jacob not really dead?
• Rose….still has cancer. So sad
• Never trust a trapped man. Nothing to lose.
• So the smoke monster is stuck as John.
• “I’m sorry I murdered him” OMG that is awesome
• Locke never went to the island so he never had faith. It is a sad thing and I am glad Helen is there to show him.
• Creepy ladder going into the ocean. Not sure I would go…Going into even creepier ladder.
• Love the black and white rocks on the scale.
• A room with their names on the wall. So were the oceanic people the last to come to the island?
• Ben is a teacher????
• This wall thing is creepy? What is a candidate?
• I love the use of shadows on the faces. It gets back to light and dark.

So what happens when they leave the island again? How does Sawyer help “Black smoke” get off the island? What gives him power that he does not have?

• So is that happened to Bed? “claimed”
• What the hell…not to Claire…nope nope
• Claire…better have a good ending.

I am not sure what I think of this episode.  It was a bit slow and did not seem like much of the story. This whole thing with Claire is a little bit strange to me…I want her to have a good ending because I like Claire. Ben’s people have never done anything to earn trust so maybe Claire took off in the jungle like Danielle did.

It is here. What we have all been waiting for. The end of Lost. The start of the end. I am anxiously awaiting to see how this story wraps itself up.

Here are my thoughts on the season premiere and what I think will come this season. Let me know your thoughts and what you want/think will happen.

Lost Thoughts

• How many times do I have to watch Juliette in that pit tonight? So sad…
• So no 815 crash.
• No one seems to know each other.
• I love Rose and Bernard. So does Rose still have cancer?
• Why is Desmond on the plane? How far back did this reset to?
• So the island is underwater?

• Once again with Juliette down the damn well!!!!!! ENOUGH
• What is up with the sound? Kate was ringing so loudly…the bomb?
• How did this bomb not blow up the whole island?
• Man so many dead people.
• So I guess the comicon skits are coming true. So Kate is going to jail?
• Juliette!!!!!!!!! Alive…come on
• Jacob is not on fire. Hurley can see dead people though…
• Boone….yum yum
• Shannon never got on the flight.
• Poor Locke … still lost
• Jacob is gone but how did that body burn so fast?
• Ben is surprised that Locke is dead.
• Jacob is dead. ‘An old friend who grew tiered of my company’
• So if Sayid goes into the temple does he lose his soul also?
• I did not come all this way to see Charlie die again.
• Charlie alive…good good
• Shouldn’t Jack go down the hole in case he can help medically?
• So was that guy the smoke monster?
• The guy spread ash that was like the stuff around Jacobs house and it protected him for a moment
• So the guy on the beach is the smoke monster?!?!?!?!?!?!!?!
• How many awful ways can we torture Juliette??? OMG STOP IT
• “I was supposed to die” That is an interesting comment from Charlie…foreshadowing of something
• It is horribly sad to see them landing in LA this way
• ON TO HOUR TWO
• Sawyer knows about Miles power to hear the dead?
• Where is Christian?
• Who are these people that grabbed them in the temple walls?
• Kate gets away and gets on Americas most wanted.
• Sawyer helps Kate escape…some things never change
• Is Miles going to tell the truth about what Juliette was thinking?
• “It Worked”
• I wonder if there are now two sets of them? A set on the island and a set that stays on the island.
• Lovely big Ankh
• Sun gets her chance to escape and does not take it?
• Sayid coming out of the water reminds of of a crucifix
• How can Sayid be dead now?
• CLAIRE
• Temple preparing for smoke monster
• What John was thinking when Ben killed Jacob?
• Where is home to this thing???
• Where is Sun in all this?
• “They just lost his body” and knives missing….
• “Nothing is irreversible”
• Richard’s eyes speak volumes and volumes
• After all this does Richard die also?
• If Sun can just get to the temple…
• Yah Sayid is alive!!! I think he might be Jacob??

Predictions and What I Want To See:

• They better know each other when this gets done.
• I think there are two sets of them and this is how they are on the island and off the island.
• Was the guy  on the beach in Christian as well?
• There were some amazing foreshadowing quotes in that episode “Nothing is irreversible” and “They lost the body and not your dad”
• Was Jacob trying to create a perfect society in the temple and all the people in are the people he brought to the island?

I am so excited to see this season. What are your thoughts?

Just 12 days before the return of the last season of Lost and the internet is already buzzing with excitement. What will happen to our favorite survivors of flight 815? Who will end up with who? Who will shoot who? Did the bomb go off? Are they back in the present time? What about Jacob? So many questions and hopefully in May we will all be a bit wiser in the Lost scheme of things.  I have not been a lost junky from the start (started watching season 4) but have since made up for it (check out the lost category of my blog to see episode summaries, predictions and more). So when I heard that Thomas Nelson was giving away free copies* of “The Gospel According To Lost” I signed up to review it. I have read several books by Chris Seay (the author) and enjoyed them and since I already loved Lost this book was right up my ally.

The first thing I have to say is that I LOVED the paintings in the book. They are truly amazing. (Check out more work by the artist http://transpireproject.wordpress.com/). Each chapter is dedicated to a character and tells a bit about their story and how it fits into the gospel. For me I always saw the show laced with spiritual thoughts and background so some of the conclusions were already made in my mind but there were some that made me ponder.

This is a great book if you are just starting in lost, been on the journey, curious about what it means, or just about anything else. Chris Seay did an awesome job of staying true to the message of Christ and what that looks like in modern story form.

My thoughts while watching the season finale of Lost:

• Interesting use of a loom – to open the show.
• Okay so this is the 1600’s? Is that the Black Rock?
• What is being proven wrong?
• Is one of these guys Jacob?
• Ahh…. that is Jacob. He is the one bringing people to the island
• There is some kind of Anubis….but not quite. Too many teeth. Like the head of a crocodile. Maybe it is Taweretor or Sobek. If it is not some form of Anubis then I am voting for Taweret. She was the ancient Egyptian goddess of maternity and childbirth, protector of women and children. I think she got pissed along the way and that is why women can’t have babies.
• Another model plane…they keep making appearances.
• This must be Kate….Patsy Cline in the background
• I had that New Kids Lunch box!
• Jacob buying Kate a New Kids On The Block lunch box!
• Could the radiation be the reason why women can no long have babies on the island?
• I want Stewart ….gone…gone…gone…gone….
• Was Richard on the Black Rock? It would make sense.
• Jacob made Richard that way…how?
• John is now talking about exterminating people….of course that could be a good thing?
• A candidate?
• AHHH….show me what is in the box
• Ahh….sawyer was a cute kid
• So did Jacob chose everyone this early? They must be candidates…but candidates for what.
• Jacob seems to come to these kids at very opportune times that shape them.
• Another promise broken by one of the kids of the survivors.
• Why yes I do like Juliette ….a whole lot
• That sure is a change for Jack to “not give up on Locke”
• First adult visit by Jacob to Sayid. This is how he got him back.
• Okay so Ben did not make the tunnel.
• Ellie is the leader…that is an interesting twist.
• Juliette watches the sub go again. I really hope she gets to get off the island.
• Vincent went back in time….
• Rose and Bernard!!!!  I have missed you.
• What is up with Juliette? Is she pregnant? I have an uneasy feeling about this.
• How do Jacob and Elana (sp?) know each other?
• Who in the hell are these people? Could they all be from the Black Rock?
• “Everything that rises must converge” – now that is an interesting reference…
• So Jacob was the one healed John from the fall
• John is now turning into Ben…he is twisting the truth.
• Oh…Charilie…
• Sun and Jin making promises they can’t keep…where is Jacob. He has got to be around.
• There he is….I knew he had to be close. He said their love was special. That means something.
• Jacob lives in the statue…interesting.
• Jack’s defining moment. Jacob can’t be far behind.
• So is Jacob witnessing all these moments or somehow causing them?
• Jack is doing all this so he can forget Kate?
• What is up with Juliette? I don’t know and it is driving me crazy…
• So is all this going to come down to some emotional response that people don’t want to remember the people they love because they were hot….that will be disappointing
• All these people need to watch “Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless mind”
• Jacob gave Hurley the guitar and told him about the flight. Guess he had to be very direct with him.
• Is it horrible I would not be sad if Jack died?
• I will however miss Juliette.
• They better find out a way to bring her back next season…..ggrrrrr
• What did Richard say?? I need to know what lies in the shadow…“He who will protect/save us all.” is what Richard said in Latin.
  
• How are there two Lockes? That was one twist I did not see coming!
• So the second John is the guy at the first part of the show. Now we will take all next season to figure out who that is

My predictions for next season:

• We go way back in history to the Black Rock
• We find out who exactly was on the Black Rock
• Jacob is not dead. How could fire kill someone who has been alive so long?
• The bomb worked and everyone is back in the same time.
• Juliette is alive and we will see her with her Sister and Niece
• We find out who the ‘adam’ and ‘eve’ were from first season and how they relate to Jacob.
• We find out the bomb is what blew up the ‘Anubis’/Taweret like statue
• Jacob came here from some sort of ancient Egyptian tribe. An off shoot of people who worship Anubis/Taweret and were banned from Egypt.
• The end of the whole show we see flight 815 land in LA and everyone goes on living their life as if nothing ever happened

My thoughts and questions while watching this week’s episode of Lost.

• I have been wondering where the ‘others’ were.
• Richard watched them all die? WTF?
• Something about this reminds me of ‘Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind’
• So exactly when did Eloise lose her soul? She seems to have one here.
• This Dharma guy annoys me to no end. Stewart…
• OMG….he hit Juliette..
• Run Hugo….run The Dharma is getting ugly
• What does John have in mind
• John told Richard where to find himself.
• Is Ben really going to follow Locke.
• Stewart is going to bring the mass genocide of the Dharma people.
• Way to go Sayid…I have been wondering where he was
• Kate is the only one has common sense.
• I am glad Miles gets to see his past for what it was.
• What is John doing….
• What will happen if Ben does not do what ghost Alex said? I have a feeling we will find out
• Kate is the third wheel…

• How is Locke going to kill Jacob? And why?

My thoughts while watching lost.

• I love seeing Penny alive!
• Does Penny know who Daniel is except for in reference from Desmond
• Daniel’s mom was wrong. So does that mean they were not supposed to come back in time or to the island in general?
• Little Daniel “I can make time” — foreshadowing
• I love Daniel — I have missed him on this show.
• I love seeing the first of the season come to life in context.
• Is this where the Comic-con video of Dr. Chang comes in?
• I am surprised mommy dearest did not know about the grant from Charles
• How can Ellie get them back to where they belong?
• And when he says belong….where does he mean? He is being vague
• Ok so Ben was telling the truth about Charles putting the plane at the bottom of the ocean.
• Juliet is awesome….she does not want Sawyer anywhere near her
• Little Charlotte….
• I love this episode…everything is coming into view
• Daniel has serious mommy issues
• This Dharma guy is getting on my last nerve…going around pointing a gun at everyone
• Okay so at the end of this show will anyone know anyone? I am going to be upset if none of the people who crashed know each other.
• I love the Desmond and Penny story….it is my favorite of the show
• I was so right and Daniel being Eloise and Charles son!
• Of course She knows Daniel will be killed
• She knew she was going to murder her son…what a nice lady

Wow this was an intense episode. A few surprises, but mostly seeing things come into place that I have suspected.
